When the world’s #1 Irish Whiskey wants to partner with you, you’re doing something right.
Black Abbey has been chosen by Jameson Irish Whiskey as its sole Caskmates Brewery Partner in Tennessee.
For a limited time, you can enjoy our two Jameson barrel-aged beers on taps at dozens of restaurants, bars and wherever craft beer is sold throughout Nashville:
- Lorica: a Belgian Dubbel style named after an ancient Gaelic prayer — attributed to St. Patrick — recited for protection and inspiration.
- Substantiator: a German-style doppelbock, cold-aged for five months in Jameson barrels, producing a rich and malty taste with balanced oak, vanilla and malt sweetness.
Both are currently profiled on Jameson’s website and designed to pair well with Jameson’s Caskmates Stout or IPA editions.
We’re humbled by Jameson’s selection and proud to represent Nashville on an international stage.
And to celebrate, we’re sharing this honor with you.
Join us Saturday, Oct. 6 at our “Fellowship Hall” taproom for an amazing beer release party!
We’ve canned limited-release 4-packs of each to commemorate the occasion.
They’re only available at the brewery — and they won’t last long!
We’ll have great music as always, and Cousins Maine Lobster Food Truck will join in the celebration.
Black Abbey is one of just 17 breweries across the U.S. chosen for this year’s endeavor.
We’re honored to be among their ranks.
It’s high praise, from a distillery with more than 200 years of history.
It’s also a reflection of the hard work of our whole team over the last five years, and the great support we’ve received from our community.
